TCL 6 Series

This is our favorite TV for most people (9/10, WIRED recommended), and this is the lowest price we’ve ever tracked for the 55-inch model. It has a quantum dot panel for bright colors and uses local dimming zones for deeper blacks in your movies and shows. It has a built-in Roku interface and the Micro-LED backlight provides exceptional contrast. This deal is also available at Walmart.

It may not look like a deal, but this price has recently fallen to its all-time low. This is one of the best looking TVs we’ve tested. The bezels are super slim, the OLED panel is fantastic, delivering deep blacks and rich colours, and it has an Android TV interface meaning you can cast to it from your phone too. It has weird feet on the ends so it’s best to mount it on the wall unless you have a large TV stand.

This is a basic entry-level TV from Hisense, but we like the brand and trust the build quality, unlike some of the other generic Amazon TVs we haven’t tested. You get Dolby Vision support for high dynamic range (read: nicer colors) and a built-in Fire TV for streaming your favorite Amazon shows.

Hisense U8G

This is just $2 more than the lowest price we’ve ever tracked. The U8G (8/10, recommended by WIRED) has a sleek design, an Android TV interface and a raised stand to place a soundbar underneath. The excellent local dimming translates into a great contrast to the quantum dot panel and you also get a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Pair it with a PC with an AMD card to take advantage of AMD FreeSync support for smoother gaming.

If you’re looking for an extra-large screen, this is one of the best discounts we’ve seen on a 75-inch model in months. It comes with Fire TV for easy streaming and Amazon shopping, plus full array local dimming means black levels and highlights look better than on cheaper displays.

Samsung Galaxy S22

Samsung’s Galaxy S22 (9/10, recommended by WIRED) is an excellent all-round high-end Android phone. It excels in almost every category, and it even gets Android version upgrades longer than the Google Pixel phones (weird considering Google maintains the Android OS). The S22 is a nice size, and this sale is on select colors and stock. If you want a bigger phone, the S22 Ultra retails for $1,050 ($247 off). It has a spectacular camera with 10x optical zoom that allows you to take sharp pictures of objects far away.

The A53 5G (8/10, WIRED recommended) has pretty much all the features most people need, including 5G, NFC for contactless payments, a battery life of over a day, IP67 water resistance and a MicroSD card slot. Then it takes it one step further with premium benefits like a 120Hz AMOLED display, four OS upgrades and five years of security updates. At this price it is an exceptional value.

If you’re bored with smartphones that are basically rectangular plates, a foldable phone like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 (7/10, WIRED recommended) might excite you. This is the lowest price we’ve ever tracked for it and one of the lowest we’ve seen on a foldable phone. Unlike previous versions, the third-generation Flip is a lot more durable, complete with IPX8 water resistance. This compact device has a smooth 120 Hz display, wireless charging and 5G connectivity.

The Moto G Stylus 5G (6/10, WIRED Review) took an honorable mention in our roundup of the best Android phones – we beat it for its lack of software and security updates, as well as disappointing cameras (compared to the similarly priced Pixel 5A and Samsung Galaxy A53). However, it offers smooth performance, two-day battery life, 5G connectivity and NFC for contactless payments. The built-in stylus is also useful for taking notes or signing documents directly from the smartphone.

MacBook Pro 16 Inch With M1 Pro

Photo: Apple

Yes, technically Apple has announced a new MacBook Pro with the M2 chip, but this more expensive 2021 MacBook Pro and its M1 Pro processor are actually much more powerful. This is the machine for anyone who needs to perform serious CPU-intensive tasks, from photo and video editing to 3D rendering. It dipped $50 lower in April, but this is still a great deal. This machine has many ports, including HDMI, and a 1080p webcam. Learn more in our Best MacBooks guide.

The Pixelbook Go is getting a little old, but it’s still an excellent, no-nonsense laptop. It’s a Chromebook, so it’s only a great option for anyone who can work completely outside of the Chrome browser (although Android apps are available through the Google Play Store). Read our Best Chromebooks guide for more details.

You’ll need to buy the keyboard mount to get the most out of this tiny Windows laptop (any Bluetooth keyboard will work too). The Surface Go 3 isn’t very powerful, but it’s good enough for simple tasks like browsing the web, emailing, editing documents, and watching YouTube.

Apple Watch SE

WIRED senior associate editor Adrienne So calls the Apple Watch SE (8/10, WIRED Recommends) the best Apple Watch for most people, making this a great time to buy it at a discount. It doesn’t have all of the health features of the high-end Apple Watch Series 7 (also on sale for $329), but it does have most that matter on a day-to-day basis. Read our Apple Watch guide to learn more.

The Vivomove is a great fitness tracker that’s stylish too. On the outside, this watch has a traditional styling with the addition of a small touchscreen display, where you can access notifications, start workouts and view calendar events. Inside, Vivomove has sensors that track blood oxygen, breathing, sleep, heart rate, and Body Battery (which calculates how much energy you’ve used based on specific health stats).

Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. This Wear OS smartwatch gets the update to Wear OS 3. It’s also one of the few Wear OS smartwatches that you can expect to comfortably last for two full days, thanks to its smart dual-display technology. It has a smooth interface and it can excellently track health statistics such as blood oxygen rate, step count and continuous heart rate measurement. Read more about it in our Best Smartwatches guide.

Samsung Galaxy Buttons2

Samsung’s Buds2 (9/10, WIRED recommended) are our top pick for Android phones in our Best Wireless EarBuds roundup. These earbuds offer active noise cancellation (with a battery life of up to five hours when the feature is in use), an IPX2 rating for water resistance and a wireless charging case. They also feel light and come in a variety of super fun colors. It is worth noting that some people have had issues with these earplugs causing irritation in their ears. I have yet to experience this, but if you do, send the buds back immediately.

I like Echo Dots (8/10, WIRED recommended) more than just about any other smart speaker. They’re small, sound damn good, and work perfectly for sleep sounds, timers, and a quick check of the weather. Last Prime Day, the price dropped to $25, so it’s worth the wait. Read our guide on how to make your Amazon Echo as private as possible.

Special offer for Gear readers: Get a 1-year subscription to WIRED for $5 ($25 off). This includes unlimited access to and our print magazine (if you want). Subscriptions help fund the work we do every day.
